Emails to: Board, Members & Friends lists

This page describes our mass-mail facility

Email All Members (Mass Email Facility)

Three email addresses are set up on your website's server that will automatically 'forward' your email to a mailing list set up in the back-end of the site.

1. Using your normal email facility (Outlook, Hotmail or Gmail etc), just send an email to:

  • "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it."  - to automatically email our club members (including Honorary Members).
  • "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.: - board members
  • "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." -  includes member's partners, past and potential members, charity and business partners. The footer of each email includes an 'Unsubscribe' link. The system is configured to forward notification alerts of 'bounced', 'unsubscribe' etc to the list manager: Bob Ivey.
    • Below is  a 'LIVE' report of the 'friends' email list - you can download or print it.

PLEASE NOTE -

  1. The mailing lists are set up in the back end of the site and are quite separate lists from the member lists displayed elsewhere and therefore need to be maintained individually by web administrators. For example, if a new member joins the club and is added to the site as a 'member' they should also be added to the mailing list "members@..".
  2. Site Administrators by logging into the back end, can also 'Edit a Mailing List' to ADD or REMOVE someone to/from a list.
  3. SENDING DELAY: the website server processes the sending every 5 minutes (24/7), so there may be a delay in receiving of up to 6 minutes
  4. People can be added (or removed) to/from the 'Friends' list using the form at the top-right column of this page.
